As the days slowly lengthen, we begin the holy season of Lent with Ash Wednesday. The ashes we receive on our foreheads on Ash Wednesday remind us that we, along with all of creation, are dependent on God’s grace. Services with Holy Communion and the imposition of ashes will be held in the sanctuary at 12:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. Join us for soup supper at 6:00 p.m.
Our Wednesday evening services continue throughout the season. We are honored that oboist Mark Seerup will offer his gifts during Wednesday evening worship, that photographer Wing Young Huie has graciously loaned us some well-known works from his collection Lake Street USA, and that reflections on the theme “Bind Us Together” will be shared by Imam Asad Zaman, Austen Hartke, Jim Daggett, Cate Anderson, and Marilyn Miller.
