Thank you for your interest in our project, “On a Threshold of Justice: Stories of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church during the Uprising after George Floyd’s Murder.” We are now beginning a new phase of the project, Story Sharing, in which small groups will gather to hear about one another’s experiences, and we hope that you will join us.
If you choose to participate, you will be assigned to a small group of other members, leaders, volunteers, or neighbors. Each group will have 4-6 participants and will meet with a facilitator between two- and five-times during February and March, depending on your availability.
Each of the story sharing sessions will be about 60-90 minutes long. We will work with group members to find a convenient meeting time for all participants, and we will have options to meet in person or via Zoom, depending on group members’ needs. In-person sessions will meet in a private room at Holy Trinity.
In each session, participants will be invited to share their experiences in response to a prompt offered by the facilitator and will have the opportunity to learn more about the experiences of other group members. Sessions will typically be audio recorded, although participants will have the option for their sessions, or parts of their sessions, to not be recorded.
To sign up, please share your contact and scheduling information here, and we will be in touch with you shortly with next steps.
