Living simply and sustainably is an important value for the congregation of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church.  We seek to provide educational opportunities for members and the community about important environmental issues.

Our concern for living responsibly with God’s creation has motivated the construction of a new rain garden in the courtyard near the church building.  Rain gardens such as these help protect rivers and streams from erosion and pollutants that can be carried by rainwater runoff.

We have also started a Creation Care Team to work on concerns of environmental sustainability and stewardship in our congregation and community.
