Community Church newsletter for January 9, 2022

By January 6, 2022Community Church

The Community Church Newsletter for January 9, 2022 is now available.

In this issue of the Community Church, you’ll find a piece about Sunday’s service, “Solar Sunday at Holy Trinity” as we dedicate and bless the new solar panels now functioning on the church building’s roof!  We have some timely announcements, but not all of them made it into this issue, so please read on…

Due to the rapid increase in COVID cases, some events that had been planned for January are being postponed:

-The film that the Palestine-Israel group was going to screen in the Bartsch Rom on January 19, The Present, has been postponed.

-The Racial Justice Retreat has also been cancelled for now. An email was sent today to survey new dates.

-Godly Play and Trinity Village will not be taking place for at least the rest of this month in an abundance of caution for the youngest among us who have not yet had access to vaccinations.

-Confirmation classes for fully vaccinated students and staff can still meet in person, or join via Zoom, as preferred.

I’m sure there will be additional updates as we ramble our way through another COVID January, so stay tuned!  In the meantime, if you are in need of a blessing or a prayer, or if you can use help finding a COVID test or a booster, call us at church. We’re here for you with love and care!
